My response to the accusations of homophobia and racism

In 2021, a twitter user dug through 14 years of content for “dirt”. They found two poorly worded jokes from 2017 and 2012. To clear my name, I responded to this in the opening gambit of my podcast, but understandably most people on the internet missed this.

Since the rumours continue to circulate on reddit, I’ve made this page in the hopes that it finds the right audience through Google.

Here’s my response to the false accusations of homophobia and racism, clipped for easy viewing:

To clarify, I'm absolutely in favour of exposing real problems. But I’m on trial for the misinterpretation of jokes.

So to state it clearly for anyone on the fence: no, I’m not a racist nor a homophobe.
