Good Morning Andrew,
I just bought the Wow factor and I am very pleased with my purchase. I do have a couple of questions about The Vault though. I was able to download, unzip and open each of the files in blender 2.5 successfully, but I noticed that there is no texture folder containing textures. The textures are in the files though. How did you accomplish this? I always have to move from one computer to another and have to transfer the textures with the .blend files and then reload the new file path on the new computer to have my textures in place. Is this a part of the baking process?
Please advise… This would save me a lot of headaches.

Hi Andrew,
This week I had to spend 12 hours in trains, and I have listened 3 times the Wow factor in MP3 and the Interview with François Tarlier. Both are very interesting.
A funny thing is that I am french, but I had no difficulties at all with the understanding of your own voice, while understanding François was sometimes more difficult !
Maybe it is due in part to the fact that the interview by phone altered a bit the voice… Anyway, everything was interesting and it helped me to spend time usefully ! Thank you !
@meqisus : I have not yet had time to look in depth , but I think that the images used as texture are packed. You just have to find in the file menu the External Data unpack feature, and a texture subfolder should be created on your Hard Disk.

Hi,
i’m really interested in buying this pack,
but a bit deceived i’ve missed the 2 extra tuts (out of the blue & Some like it hot)…
I’d like to know if there’s a way to get it by now, as it’s blender 2.5 oriented, it still is interesting…
Thanks for your answer,
see you,
bye !

Wauw! I just bought it, and I was just sad that I was too late for the bonusses. But well well, I still received them (don’t know if this is all of them, but still.. cool enough for me :D ).
Thank you so very much Andrew.. I never understood those composite-thingies.

I kind of agree with shawn… don’t get me wrong, I love blender guru and i’m totally ok with finally paying mr. price for him helping me get better at blender. Personally I don’t see why he doesn’t release the 2 extra’s separately, or as a bundle now that the free deal is over, i’m sure he could make some more money off of it and make a lot of people happy who are willing to pay for it. I also don’t understand the reasoning behind not giving the vault to everyone who purchases this. I mean I can see not wanting other people to simply steal his hard work, but couldn’t you put some sort of license on the blend files. Sure people might still take small parts of the scene so the source wouldn’t be recognizable, but why’s that such a big deal. It’s a shame too because i would buy this if the vault was included, instead i don’t know how much i could get out of this with just being told how to create effects without actually seeing the scenes they were meant for. And lastly i do understand that this is a good deal even without these things but his persistence in saying it is, is sort of a turn off. It reminds me of all those infomercials that try to rip you off and keep putting fake numbers with no meaning saying “real value $100″ and then crossing it out like 10 times which mr. price does as well, and then saying the final price which is ridiculously lower. I mean c’mon was he really ever considering selling this for $120. In all honesty just the fact that he made a 15 minute trailer promoting this means that it has a lot of stuff in it and the thorough descriptions had me ready to buy it instantly once the video was over (that is until the last 4 minutes or so), but the constant reiteration of him saying what a good deal it is turns me away. I am really glad that he tells us the blend files aren’t included because it saves me the frustration of finding out after buying it. All in all, the trailer made me dead set on purchasing it and then, sadly, dead set on not.
