Hi Andrew,

another brilliant tutorial and love the detail you go into. I don't mind too much about tutorial lenght if I is showing more techniques and the like. The chapter bookmarks are a great idea. Would love to see detailed tutorials on UV unwrapping. There are many tutorials that will cover basic objects like cubes and spheres but nothing really beyond that with organic and complex shapes.

Look forward to more great tutorials and love coming past every Tuesday or so for the next installment of goodies.

stib,
You can close windows from either top right or bottom left. Hold down for a second at the top right, when the "+" appears, then move the cursor right.

I was going nuts trying to join screens. I could split them, but not join them, so I ended up with a zillion panels. Turns out that to join screens you click on the widget in the lower left and drag left, not the upper right + drag right. This is for 2.53 BTW.

I'm loving how you can multiple top-level windows. Good for dual monitor setups.

Taken the survey. Seems so short though. I could have answer a couple more.

What I most love to improve in Blender is to make the GUI compact and important stuff easy and quick to access, because I have a hard time seeing everything and I find myself keeping dragging the panels every time (annoying!).

@Don Protz
    Yeah I don't know why they would do that to people! I finally found out that there was a sample to compare to. Your render is good just don't give up on it so soon! let that thing render for 48 hours! You can still see the tiniest circulation that makes everything look textured in the same way, but the work is good. nice job! I've been pimping Andrews Ride(Rx-8 model) and my laptop had to render for 15 hours and it still wasn't as good as the Internal Rend. Just obviously better promise with the lighting. Apparently these things take MASSIVE time. Good Blending!
