You really have some good ideas! I looked a little into the "istock" site, its a cool place to submit work... but the requirements are that the format be in .EPS... so the site is primarily aimed at 2d illustrations you can easily make in Adobe illustrator. Though you could export blender files to a format (like .dxf I think) and import it into adobe, fool around with your mesh etc and then save it as .eps... I think that site would be easier for '2d' images. But I found a site "www.the3dstudio.com" (though havent submitted anything yet) that sounds easier to submit your 3d models as 'stock images'... I think you can name your own price for your model and earn 60% of the sales... Im excited... but right now should get back to my schoolwork...uggh.. if anyone tries it out, leave a post and let me know how it worked out! This article is great. You really have some good ideas!
