Rainy Night by Morteza Najafi; Morning by Morteza Najafi – these are brilliant.

Rainy Night really captures the emotion of the driver and the violence and power of the elements.

Morning, is just stunning – loads of gritty realism; life on the edge.

Goldie by Maurice Panisch – great modelling and render, but is it art? Not to me, it says car, that’s it. Others pretty much go the same way.

Morteza Najafi put much detail and work into “Morning”. The only way I was able to tell that it wasn’t a photograph is that all of the cars are facing toward the camera, but so is the speed-limit sign. Either everyone goes down the street the wrong way or city officials are rather careless. The latter seems more likely, as I doubt that one would often find a speed limit of 50 in a densely populated area like that.

I can’t stop inspecting and examining Morteza Najafi’s work. It is soooo photo-realistic I find myself scrutinizing the images hoping to discover that they are photos. Perhaps because it’s hard to believe that they could be anything else. They are awesome!!

What is even more amazing is that the true scope of the work never makes it completely into frame. The devil in the details are the reflections of off camera props that continue the illusion of a surrounding world. Did I say “props”? You bet!! Total props to Morteza Najafi, absolutely inspiring.

The CG Cars forums, http://forum.cg-cars.com/ is home to some amazing artists that can create 3D renders of vehicles that blur the line between what’s real and what’s virtual.

That’s where I got my inspiration to get back into Blender (with version 2.54 Beta no less!).

while i skim,, i pay very keen attention to video tutorials..

on ur trip to Korea when u did the timelapse of the volumetric clouds,,, i think blender crashed and i saw the snow buggy was your wallpaper…

first time seeing this article… really nice tho…

If you didn’t say that they are 3D renderers, I would believe they are just real photos .
VERY NICE !
I don’t really like the idea of Blender Spec… =/ Because I think those renders are perfect and I suggest you post everything you think it’s artistic.
